Team of Four Adventurists from Pune namely Mr. Subhash Takle, Mr. Sanjeev Shah, Mr. Bhagwan Chawle and Mr. Anil Wagh will support Giripremi’s Quest of Eight Thousanders by climbing Mt. Island a 21000 feet high mountain in Nepal.

12th April 2016 – Entire Team Summits Mt. Island !!
After a rigorous training under team GGIM’s guidance, Pune’s four mountaineers Subhash Takale, Sanjeev Shah, Bhagwan Chawle & Anil Wagh summitted Mt. Island today early morning along with their climbing guides Gompa sherpa and Gelu sherpa.

8th April 2016 –
Team reached Dingboche on yesterday, 7th April. Today they went for height gain to the ‘Nagarjun Hill’. They celebrated the auspitious Gudhipadwa at the altitude of 4500 meters. With this acclimatization schedule, team will be reaching village Chukhung tonight and then they will start actual climbing towards Mt. Island.
5th April 2016 –
Team has reached Namche Bazar and got the first view of the mighty Mt. Everest from the Everest View Lodge. They started from Kathmandu on 3rd April by air to reach Lukla. In a pleasant weather, team enjoyed the walk from Lukla to Phakding at 9000 ft above sea level. They were at Namche Bazar on 4th April and did some rest and acclimatization today. The next destination will Tengboche and team will start from tomorrow early morning from Namche…

Team reached Kathmandu in the morning.. They will now spend two days in Kathmandu and prepare for the trek…
