Stok Kangri Summit  

GGIM organised a trekking expedition on Mount Stok Kangri in Indian Himalayas. Stok Kangri, 6153 meters tall, is the highest trekkable peak in India. It is one of the most popular peaks in mountaineering fraternity around the world. GGIM’s first expedition on Stok Kangri in 2018 was organised in late July under the leadership of Dr. Sumeet Mandale (Experienced mountaineer and Mt. Cho Oyu Summiteer). Amongst 6 team members,  Prashant Gawai from Pune summited the peak at 6.15 am on July 26, 2018, and returned safely. Itinerary of the expedition

July 24 and 25 Acclimatization 
July 26 Summit by Prashant Gawai at 6.15am
