Manaslu Base Camp Trek
Trek to the foot of eight highest mountain in the world

Giripremi’s pursuit of The Quest of Eight Thousenders continues and to support Giripremi’s upcoimng Manaslu Expedition, GGIM has newly launched Manaslu Base Camp Trek.

SCHEDULE:

Reporting Date in Kathmandu: 27th Apr 2017

DAY WISE ITINERARY: 

Manaslu Base Camp is a 16 days trek. At GGIM we focus on acclimatization and hence we include some rest days whenever there is a major height gain. Day 1-  Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 2-  Drive to Sotikhola (700 m)

Day 3-  Trek to Tato Pani / Khorla Besi (930 m)

Day 4-  Trek to Jagat (1440 m)

Day 5-  Trek to Deng (1846 m)

Day 6-  Trek to namrung (2540 m)

Day 7-  Trek to Lho village (3220 m)

Day 8-  Trek to Sama gaon (3390 m)

Day 9-  Acclimatization at Samagaon, explore MBC, Punggen Gompa

Day 10-  Trek to Samdu (3860 m)

Day 11-  Trek to Dharamshala (4480 m)

Day 12-  Trek to Larke Pass and overnight at Behmthang (3720 m)

Day 13-  Trek to Dharapani (1860 m)

Day 14-  Drive Back to Besisahar (760 m)

Day 15-  Drive to Kathmandu

Day 16-  Departure from Kathmandu

COST DETAILS:

The cost mentioned below will take care of the expenses from Kathmandu till you are back to Kathmandu from the trek.

Following services are included in above cost

  • All airport to hotel transfers at Kathmandu.
  • 3 nights stay at Hotel in Kathmandu on twin sharing basis with breakfast only.
  • Kathmandu – Arughat Public Bus transport
  • Dharapani Besisahar KTM transport (public & Private).
  • Food and Accommodation (On twin sharing basis) during the trek.
  • An experienced trekking guide and Sherpa porters to carry luggage including their salary, insurance, equipment, transportation, food and lodging.
  • All necessary paper works (National Park Fee, ACAP permits)
  • Trekking Duffle bag and trekking map
  • Special dinner at Kathmandu

Following services are NOT included in above cost

  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
  • Personal gear like sleeping bag, feather jacket etc.
  • All meals in Kathmandu except breakfast.
  • Extra beverages and mineral water during the trek.
  • Personal expenses during trek like wi-fi, battery charging, hot water bath, etc.
  • Emergency Medical Evacuation.
  • Tips for guides and porters.
  • VISA /permit / any other extra cost applicable to NON INDIAN passport holders.

FITNESS GUIDELINES: 

All participants above 14 years are eligible to apply for this trek. Participant size will be max 14.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Step 1 – Registration
Once you confirm your interested date, we will send you registration forms. They consists of Enrollment, Medical and Indemnity bond. Indemnity bond should be printed on a stamp paper of Rs 500 and should be notarized by a legal practitioner. In case the participant is below 16 years, parent’s and school principal’s consent letters are required. We will share formats for indemnity bond & consent letter with you separately.
Once you complete the registration, please make the payment of the trek fees by either of the following ways. DO WRITE US A MAIL INTIMATING CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT OF FEES WITH TRANSACTION DETAILS.

Step 2 – Payment of trek fees

Payment Terms –

Rs. 30,000/- to be paid at the time of initial booking and balance 30 days prior to the trek.

Cancellation Policy –

In case of any unavoidable reason if you happen to cancel your booking, please send the
cancellation request through email.

Rs. 15,000/- will be deducted and balance amount will be refunded, if cancellation is made 30
or more days prior to the reporting date of your selected batch.

Rs. 25,000/- will be deducted and balance amount will be refunded, if cancellation is made
15 to 30 days prior to the reporting date of your selected batch.

No refund will be made if cancellation is made within 15 days prior to date of departure.
