GGIM's 10th Advance Rock Climbing Course
What a wonderful time 27 enthusiastic trainees and GGIM’s top notch 6 instructors spent together in the core of Sahyadri mountains learning advance skills of rock climbing!
The wholehearted invovlement of all combined with a exellent terrain for honing the climbing craft have made this special 10th ARCC batch on GGIM’s 10th anniversary a befiting grandiose moment.
During the course trainees learnt the skills of lead climbing, lead belay, stationa management, advanced navigation, anchoring systems, multipitch rappelling and jumaring, expedition planning and so on.
4Days training took place at the base of fort Jivdhan. Trainees are now empowered to lead on single and multi pitch routes, assess the safety situations in climbing, be a part of expedition planning in Sahyadri and navigate even in the wildest of the terrains.
After a grueling training, followed by intense practical exams and multiple rounds of viva, Ashutosh Joshi proved to be the Best Trainee of this special batch!
