Akshara International School Mountaineering Club - Adventure Education

We are delighted to share with you that on 22nd June,2024 , Akshara International School (AIS) in association with GGIM started its 2nd edition of Avhaan Nirmaan Udaan (ANU) programme for its students. 

Over 100 kids in two levels – Avhaan & Avhaan Advance have set forth on their first treks to Korigad and Sondai fort respectively. 

Last year the school launched the AIS Mountaineering Club. The club has sparked a flare of adventure culture in school and all thanks to the Principal Sonali Balwatkar and Vice Principal Mrudula Mahajan for taking such wonderful initiative for the overall development of AIS students.

 The 2nd edition of ANU for AIS mountaineering club was kicked off with an impressive response from AIS students. AIS Vice Principal Mrudula Mahajan, GGIM’s Founder Director Umesh Zirpe, Director Chandan Chavan, Head Operations Bhushan Harshe were present at the flag off ceremony.

Over 100 energetic students and their enthusiastic parents heralded a bright adventurous journey ahead. We wish all the young minds of AIS the best for their future adventures!
