The City Pride School Nigdi Mountaineering Club is a unique initiative by Guardian Giripremi Institute of Mountaineering (GGIM) that encourages students to step beyond the classroom and discover the world of adventure. Through carefully planned treks and outdoor activities, students get an opportunity to explore the Sahyadri ranges while developing confidence, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and a strong connection with nature. Each trek becomes a journey of learning, where students discover the history of ancient forts, observe the rich biodiversity of the Western Ghats, and understand the importance of environmental responsibility. These outdoor experiences challenge students physically and mentally, helping them develop resilience, self-reliance, and a positive approach towards difficulties. The Mountaineering Club aims to make adventure an important part of a student’s overall development, creating meaningful experiences, lifelong memories, and a genuine appreciation for nature and the outdoors.
