The City Pride School Ravet Mountaineering Club is a unique initiative by Guardian Giripremi Institute of Mountaineering (GGIM) that introduces students to adventure and outdoor learning beyond the classroom. Through carefully planned treks and outdoor activities, students get opportunities to explore the Sahyadri ranges while developing confidence, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and a deeper connection with nature. Each trek offers valuable learning experiences, allowing students to discover historic forts, observe the rich biodiversity of the Western Ghats, and understand the importance of environmental responsibility. These outdoor journeys encourage students to face challenges, move beyond their comfort zones, and develop resilience and self-reliance. The Mountaineering Club aims to make adventure an important part of a student’s overall development, creating meaningful experiences and lifelong memories while nurturing a genuine appreciation for nature, history, and the outdoors.
