Please find the details of the upcoming trek below:

Trek Destination: Duke’s Nose

About Duke’s Nose

Duke’s Nose, locally known as Nagphani, is a prominent rock formation in the Sahyadri ranges near Lonavala. Its distinctive shape makes it a well-known landmark, while its elevated location offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, hills and mountain landscape.

The trek passes through forest trails, rocky sections and open mountain terrain, giving participants an opportunity to experience varied trekking conditions. The route also provides exposure to the natural rock formations and scenic landscapes of the Sahyadris.

The trek provides participants with an opportunity to explore the outdoors while developing endurance, confidence, teamwork and outdoor skills through practical mountain experiences.

Registration Formalities

1.One page declaration form should be submitted by the parents. The child must present
the form before boarding the bus.
2.In case the form is not submitted, the child will not be able to attend the program.

Fees Include & Exclude

✔️ Fees Include
  • Transport facility from School Main gate to the Trek venue and return by private Non-Ac bus.
  • Guidance and supervision by qualified trek leaders and instructors.
  • Outdoor learning sessions conducted as part of the ANU curriculum.
  • Use of technical equipment, where required.
  • First aid support throughout the trek.
  • Snacks and refreshments during the return journey.
❌ Fees Exclude
  • Breakfast, lunch, or any personal refreshments.
  • Transportation to and from School before the reporting time and after the trek concludes.
  • Any personal expenses or items not specifically mentioned under “Fees Include.”
  • Any medical expenses incurred beyond the first aid provided during the trek.

Payment Terms

  • Last day for payment – 3 days prior to the trek date

Please make all payments only through our official website payment gateway. Payments made through QR codes, UPI, bank transfer, or any other method outside the website will not be accepted. To avoid any issues, kindly complete your payment directly on the website.

  • Cancellation Policy for One Day Treks

1. Cancellation will be considered only when you send an official email for the same to admin@ggim.in.
2. If cancelled 3 or more days prior to the trek, entire fees will be refunded or carried forward.
3. If cancelled 2 days prior to the trek, 70% of the paid amount will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.
4. If cancelled within 2 days prior to the trek, 30% of the trek fees will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.

  1. Full Sleeve Tshirt
  2. Full Trackpants
  3. Cap
  4. Buff
  5. Shoes and Socks

Things To Carry

  1. Small Bag
  2. Drinking Water – 3 L,
  3. Sports shoes / Trekking Shoes,
  4. Sun Cap,
  5. Dry snacks (like Chocolate,Chikki, Energy Bars etc. Please avoid Chips, Lays, Kurkures )
  6. Personal medication (if any – to be informed well in advance to the instructors),
  7. Spare Set of Clothes (In a separate polythene bag, inside the sack)
