Please find details of the upcoming trek below:
Level: Nirmaan Advance
Trek destination : Mengjai Temple via vinzar
The trek to Mengjai Devi via Vinzar is a scenic trail set in the Velhe region of the Sahyadri ranges. The route begins near Vinzar village and ascends through open grasslands, gentle slopes, and shaded forest patches. Under careful pacing and guidance, the trail offers a modest yet rewarding climb that passes through quiet rural surroundings, rock-strewn hill tracks, and scenic ridgelines. At the summit sits the ancient Mengjai Devi Temple, a hilltop shrine sacred to the surrounding villages, flanked by historic rock-cut water cisterns. The peak provides panoramic vistas of the surrounding Velhe valley and neighboring Sahyadri peaks. On a clear day, several prominent historic strongholds are visible from the top—Sinhagad Fort stands directly opposite the mountain, while the high ridgelines of Rajgad Fort and Torna Fort frame the horizon, along with distant views towards Purandar Fort.

Cancellation Policy for One Day Treks
1. Cancellation will be considered only when you send an official email for the same to admin@ggim.in .
2. If cancelled 3 or more days prior to the trek, entire fees will be refunded or carried forward.
3. If cancelled 2 days prior to the trek, 70% of the paid amount will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.
4. If cancelled within 2 days prior to the trek, 30% of the trek fees will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.
