Trek Destination: Hadshi to Bhadas Forest Trail

About the Trek

The Hadshi to Bhadas Forest Trail, situated in the scenic Mulshi region near the GGIM Valane site, is a comparatively easy 6–7 km trail, making it suitable for beginners.

The trek offers scenic views of the Western Ghats and nearby Kailasgad Fort, along with an opportunity to explore the natural surroundings and experience the monsoon landscape under the guidance of experienced GGIM instructors.

Registration Formalities

1.One page declaration form should be submitted by the parents. The student must submit the signed form before boarding the bus.
2.In case the form is not submitted, the student will not be able to attend the program.

Fees Include & Exclude

✔️ Fees Include
  • Transport facility from School Main gate to the Trek venue and return by private Non-Ac bus.
  • Quality breakfast and lunch arrangements.
  • Guidance and supervision by qualified trek leaders and instructors.
  • Use of technical equipment, where required.
  • First aid support throughout the trek.
❌ Fees Exclude
  • Any personal refreshments.
  • Transportation to and from School before the reporting time and after the trek concludes.
  • Any personal expenses or items not specifically mentioned under “Fees Include.”
  • Any medical expenses incurred beyond the first aid provided during the trek.

Payment Terms

Last day for payment – 3 days prior to the trek date

Cancellation Policy for One Day Treks
Once the payment is received by GGIM for the trek, in case of any cancellation, following policy will apply –
1. Cancellation will be considered only when you send an official email for the same to admin@ggim.in.
2. If cancelled 3 or more days prior to the trek, entire fees will be refunded or carried forward.
3. If cancelled 2 days prior to the trek, 70% of the paid amount will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.
4. If cancelled within 2 days prior to the trek, 30% of the trek fees will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.

Trekking Attire

  1. Full Sleeve Tshirt
  2. Full Trackpants
  3. Cap
  4. Buff
  5. Shoes and Socks
  6. Raincoat/Poncho

Things To Carry

  • Backpack: A small bag or daypack.

  • Hydration: Drinking Water – minimum 2 Liters.

  • Footwear: Sports shoes or Trekking Shoes.

  • Sun Protection: Sun Cap.

  • Rainwear: Poncho or Raincoat.

  • Extra Clothing: Spare set of clothes (packed in a separate polythene bag inside your sack).

  • Snacks: Dry snacks such as Chocolates, Chikki, or Energy Bars. (Note: Please avoid chips, Lays, or Kurkure).

  • Medical: Personal medication, if applicable (must be informed well in advance to the instructors).
