Trek Destination: Bhadas To Waghjai Temple
The trek starts from Bhadas village and gradually moves into a peaceful trail shaded by Karvanda and mango trees, with a gentle water stream flowing alongside the path. This stretch offers a refreshing walk through the greenery of the Sahyadri region. Further ahead, a series of well-constructed man-made steps lead uphill towards Waghjai Devi Mandir. With an approximate elevation gain of 300 feet, the trail provides a steady climb and a rewarding experience amidst nature and local heritage.

- Cancellation Policy for One Day Treks
1. Cancellation will be considered only when you send an official email for the same to ggimpune@gmail.com.
2. If cancelled 3 or more days prior to the trek, entire fees will be refunded or carried forward.
3. If cancelled 2 days prior to the trek, 70% of the paid amount will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.
4. If cancelled within 2 days prior to the trek, 30% of the trek fees will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.

Learning Content
The learning content covers the wildlife and rich flora and fauna of the Sahyadri, including identification of native trees, forest shrubs and commonly found medicinal plants. It includes basic recognition of local bird species, insects and small fauna found in the region. The module explains food chains, interdependence within ecosystems, natural habitats and the importance of biodiversity conservation. Focus is also given to habitat sensitivity and the ecological significance of the Western Ghats as a vital mountain ecosystem.
