Level: Nirmaan Advance
Trek destination: Katraj – Bopdev ghat

The Katraj to Bhopdev Ghat trail follows a long Sahyadri ridge starting from the Katraj side and extending towards Bhopdev Ghat, offering wide views of the surrounding hills and parts of the city. The route is selected and paced carefully under trained supervision. The trek involves a series of gradual climbs and descents across connected hilltops, with sections of mud trails, rocky patches, and open grassy stretches.
Several historic forts of the Sahyadri range can be seen on a clear day. Towards the southwest, Sinhagad Fort stands out prominently with its broad plateau and steep cliffs, and beyond it in the distance lie Rajgad Fort and Torna Fort, both identifiable by their expansive ridge formations. In the southeast direction, the twin structure of Purandar Fort and Vajragad Fort can often be observed. Along with these forts, we also get wide views of surrounding valleys, rural landscapes and water bodies such as Katraj Lake.
