10th Special Trek to Dhana Kunnu
This is a specially curated Himalayan adventure program designed exclusively for Class 10 students after their board examinations. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Dhanna Kunnu near Manali, Himachal Pradesh, this trek offers students a perfect blend of adventure, learning, and personal growth in the mountains.
This 10th Special program allows students to take a refreshing break after exams while engaging in meaningful outdoor experiences. Through trekking and adventure-based learning, participants build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a safe and structured environment.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Pune → Delhi (Train)
Departure from Pune by NZM Duronto Express train to Delhi.
Day 2 | Delhi → Naggar (Overnight Bus)
Arrival in Delhi. Explore key locations in the city. In the evening, board an overnight bus journey to Naggar.
Day 3 | Arrival at Naggar & Acclimatization
Early morning arrival at Naggar. After breakfast, spend the day participating in adventure activities. The day concludes with an acclimatization walk around Naggar village.
Day 4 | Naggar → Rumsu → Ghankuladi
Drive from Naggar to Rumsu village. Begin the hike from Rumsu to Ghankuladi campsite through scenic trails.
Day 5 | Ghankuladi → Chaklani
Trek from Ghankuladi to Chaklani campsite. Enjoy gradual ascents and stunning views along the route.
Day 6 | Chaklani → Dhanna Kunnu Pass → Ghankuladi
Early start for the trek to Dhanna Kunnu Pass. After reaching the pass, descend back to Ghankuladi campsite.
Day 7 | Ghankuladi → Rumsu → Base Camp
Trek down from Ghankuladi to Rumsu village. Drive further to the base camp for an overnight stay.
Day 8 | Manali Exploration → Delhi (Overnight Bus)
After breakfast, explore nearby attractions including the Atal Tunnel. Free time for shopping at Mall Road, Manali. Overnight bus journey to Delhi.
Day 9 | Delhi → Pune (Train)
Arrival in Delhi and boarding of Goa Express train for Pune.
Day 10 | Arrival in Pune
Reach Pune, marking the end of a memorable Himalayan adventure.

- Train travel from Pune to Delhi and Delhi to Pune by 3AC
- Bus travel Delhi-Manali-Delhi by Volvo AC Bus
- Meals during Travel from Pune to Pune (Except Lunch on Day 8)
- Accommodation in spacious and comfortable tents, at Naggar
- Accommodation in Alpine tents (2/3 men) during the trek with sleeping bags, fleece inners, and trekking mats. (A separate toilet tent facility is provided) at base camp.
- A variety of wholesome hygienic veg. meals during the entire program.
- Services of cook, kitchen helpers with the entire necessary kitchen items, utensils etc.
- GGIM instructors accompanying throghout the programme.
- The services of high altitude porters for assisting with load ferry of central equipment
and camp establishment. - Vehicular transport from Naggar to Road head and back to Naggar, after the completion of the trek using Sumo / Tempo Traveler or similar.

- Expenses of a personal nature.
- All evacuation charges (medical emergency or otherwise), or hospitalization or physicians consultation charges.
- Beverages or drinks of any sort, including soft drinks or bottled / mineral water

- Any other services not specifically mentioned in the service inclusions
Registration Formalities
- Pay the first installment – Rs. 10,000 / person. Balance can be paid 1 month prior to the trek. (Rs. 5,000 from first installment are Non-refundable, Non-transferrable)
- One-time online enrollment form. Kindly fill this form if you are associating with GGIM for the first time (Ignore if already filled)
- Medical Form: Medical form should be duly filled, signed and stamped from a doctor (MBBS and above)

Cancellation Policy:
Initial booking amount is non refundable and non transferrable.

- If cancellation is made one month or more prior to the trek, we will refund 100% of
the paid amount (excluding initial booking amount) - If cancellation is made 15 to 30 days prior to the trek, we will refund 50% of the paid
amount. - If the cancellation is made within 15 days prior to the trek, there will be no refund.
- If the trek gets cancelled due to any any natural calamities like Uttarakhand floods,
Nepal Earthquake, Covid-19 pandemic, we will refund the trek fees deducting actual
expenses incurred depending on the stage of the trek.
- If cancellation is made one month or more prior to the trek, we will refund 100% of
