Trek Destination: Jambhivali to Kusur
About the Trek
The Jambhivali to Kusur trek follows an old mountain route through the Sahyadri ranges of the Karjat region. The trail forms part of the well-known Lonavala to Bhimashankar trekking route, connecting different sections of the Sahyadris through traditional mountain paths.
The route passes through forest sections, rocky patches and open plateaus, offering wide views of the surrounding valleys and ridges. Historically, such routes were used by villagers, traders and shepherd communities for travelling between villages and transporting goods such as grain and forest produce.
The trek gives participants an opportunity to explore an important section of the Sahyadri trail network while experiencing the natural landscape and traditional mountain routes of the region.

Payment Terms
Last day for payment – 3 days prior to the trek date
Please make all payments only through our official website payment gateway. Payments made through QR codes, UPI, bank transfer, or any other method outside the website will not be accepted. To avoid any issues, kindly complete your payment directly on the website.
Cancellation Policy for One Day Treks
1. Cancellation will be considered only when you send an official email for the same to ggimpune@gmail.com.
2. If cancelled 3 or more days prior to the trek, entire fees will be refunded or carried forward.
3. If cancelled 2 days prior to the trek, 70% of the paid amount will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.
4. If cancelled within 2 days prior to the trek, 30% of the trek fees will be carried forward only towards next scheduled activity or refunded.

Learning Content
The learning content focuses on developing independent navigation skills during the trek while also introducing new rope knots used in rock craft. Participants will learn how to navigate the trail using basic route-finding techniques and terrain observation. In addition, they will practice tying knots such as the Bowline on the Bight and the Italian Hitch, understanding their applications in climbing, belaying, and rescue situations during outdoor activities.
